CMR Insurance is a voluntary insurance of civil liability of a transport company-carrier, applicable in countries that have signed the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR). These countries include Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS and European countries.
Carrier companies are responsible for the safe and sound delivery of cargo, and also exactly on time.
During transportation, a number of unforeseen situations (force majeure) may occur, which result in the complete loss of cargo, as well as damage to it.
Road accidents and equipment breakdowns are factors that lead to complete or partial loss of cargo.
The carrier company is interested in the safety of the cargo, but practice shows that various situations occur on the road
